Privacy policy

How we process personal data.

This policy explains how EVATHINK, S.L. processes the personal data of people who visit this Website or contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process and how we obtain it

This Website has no forms, private areas or user registration. We process personal data only in these cases:

  • Data you give us when you write to us by email or call us by telephone: name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry.
  • Technical data about your visit: the server may automatically record the IP address, the date and time, the pages requested and the browser used. This logging is carried out by the hosting provider.

We do not ask for specially protected data, and this Website is not aimed at children.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Dealing with your enquiries and requests for information or quotations. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and, for general enquiries, your consent when you contact us (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Managing the business relationship with customers and suppliers (orders, deliveries, invoicing and warranty). Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Complying with legal obligations of a tax, accounting and commercial nature. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Maintaining the security and proper operation of the Website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We do not send commercial communications, we do not carry out profiling and we do not take automated decisions.

4. Retention periods

We will keep your data for as long as necessary to deal with your request and, if one is established, for the duration of the business relationship. After that we will keep it duly blocked for the limitation periods of any legal and tax liabilities that may arise, and delete it when those periods end. Technical server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

5. Recipients

We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where required by law (for example, to the public authorities responsible for tax matters) or where necessary for the legal relationship.

To provide their services to us, the following providers have access to personal data on behalf of EVATHINK, S.L., as processors:

  • Arsys: web hosting services.
  • The email service provider.
  • Altamira Asesores y Consultores, S.L.: advisory and administrative services.

6. International transfers

EVATHINK, S.L. does not make international transfers of personal data. None of the providers mentioned provides its services outside the European Union.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw at any time any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before. To do so, write to info@evathink.com or to our address (C/ Gomera 8, Pol. Ind. Tres Hermanas, 03680 Aspe, Alicante, Spain), stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your DNI, NIE or passport. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by a further two months where necessary, in accordance with the GDPR.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Cookies and the Google map

This Website does not install its own or third-party cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools and does not store information on your device.

The Contact page offers a Google Maps map. By default it is not loaded: it is loaded only if you press the “Load Google map” button. At that point your browser connects to Google servers, which may receive your IP address and browser data and may set their own cookies. That processing is carried out by Google under its own responsibility and is governed by its privacy policy and its information on cookies.

If you do not wish to connect to Google, do not press the button: our address is shown on the contact page itself. You can delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings.

If the Website ever includes cookies that require your consent, we will tell you and ask for your consent before installing them.

9. Security

EVATHINK, S.L. applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access or alteration.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the Website. The current version is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
